Warranty Policy
Generation II products have a lifetime warranty. We consider 20 years to be the lifetime of a trailer. Automotive products have a 5-year warranty, Maxilamp series has a 7-year warranty. Interior and courtesy lamps have a 3-year warranty.
This warranty covers faults in components and workmanship of the lamp itself when used under normal conditions and does not cover:
- Faulty installation
- Overvoltage
- Accidental damage
- Excessive heat damage
- Misuse or abuse
- Incorrect use of chemicals that damage plastics (see list below)
- Freight charges
- Cost of labour for removal and/or replacement of the product
- Product damage from exposure to chemicals as per Chemical Resistance List.
Important Note: 1 Year Warranty applies to all lamps that are used with Cement Mixer type vehicles. This is due to the strong caustic nature of the cement.
All warranty returns must be tested off the vehicle to ensure that the unit is at fault. This can be done by simply attaching the lamps to a fully charged 12-volt battery. Do not replace any products unless you are 100% sure that the product which is faulty will be covered under warranty.
If the unit is faulty, call your place of purchase so it can be directed to the LED Autolamps warranty department for full testing and evaluation.
Refund Policy
Please choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where goods are faulty, have been wrongly described, are different to the product purchased on the website or doesn't do what it is supposed to do.
